Amanda Smearman
Shine Studio Owner, Amanda Smearman, has been a Licensed Cosmetologist since 2003, and a Certified Master Makeup Artist since 2016. She is a 2002 graduate of Allegany High School, and went on to Graduate from International Beauty School in 2003.
Having spent most of her career working for others, Amanda began working for herself out of her own home-based salon in 2011 when her son was just 9 months old. After 5 years of working at home, her client base and schedule was beginning to get to be too much for her home. Her son was starting Kindergarten and she knew she wanted to open her own Salon. With the help of a client and longtime friend, 7 short weeks later, Shine Studio was open for business.
Amanda specializes in hair color, specifically reds and blondes are her favorite. She is also the Lead Makeup Artist at Shine Studio and oversees the planning of every wedding party that the Studio has the pleasure of helping.
Loretta Stump
Shine Studio Manager, Loretta Stump, has been a Licensed Cosmetologist since 2000. Loretta is known for her precise haircuts, rainbow hair colors, and gorgeous nails, which leave her clients pleased and coming back for more.
Loretta is our Lead Nail Tech and is constantly bringing in new products and techniques to the Salon and clients.
Loretta’s goal everyday is to see her clients leave feeling amazing about themselves. The time she dedicates to her clients ensures that they leave happy every single time.
Brandi (Payne) Robinette
Brandi is Shine Studio’s Creative Director. She is in charge of ensuring that our staff stays up to date on education, new styles, trends, and the hottest products that our clients love.
Brandi has been a Licensed Cosmetologist since 2011 and continues to learn and grow every day. She thrives on learning new techniques and her clients love coming in to see what she has up her sleeve for them.
Brandi specializes in pastel hair colors, balayage, and children’s haircuts. She excels in her client consultation to ensure that her clients understand the process and have a realistic expectation of what their hair will look like. This is especially important when she gets her hands into the silver and pastel tones.
Amber Barnhouse
Shine Studio’s resident Sassy Stylist, Amber Barnhouse, has been a Licensed Cosmetologist since 2011 and always impresses us with her talent. She strives to be the best stylist she can be and make her clients feel beautiful even when they may struggle to see it in themselves.
She’s inspired by her clients as she talks with them and listens to their goals and what’s going on in their life. Amber is a positive force and it shows through in her work and her client’s faces when they leave.
Amber specializes in colors and cuts. Specifically foil highlights and lowlights. She combines speed and perfection in an unmatched combo to give her clients the look they want that keeps them coming back for more.
Kimberly Lewis
Kim Lewis is Shine Studio’s bubble of energy. She has brought a fun energy to the salon since she started in March of 2017. She has been a Licensed Cosmetologist since 2013, and is always looking to continue to learn new techniques and services to provide to her clients.
We love Kim’s dedication to all of our clients. She is the Stylist that will go to everyone’s client when she’s not busy asking them if they’d like coffee or water.
Kim puts her heart into every service she preforms. She excels in Men’s and Children’s haircuts. Her attention to detail and precise eye ensures that her clients leave happy.
Kim also preforms Body Waxing, Manicures, and Pedicures.
Stephanie Dean
Stephanie Dean is our most colorful Stylist. She has been a Licensed Cosmetologist since 2006, and is currently a Licensed Senior Cosmetologist.
Stephanie is inspired by Color and in shows through every single day that she’s in the salon. Specializing in Vivid colors, she has an eye for color placement that is unmatched by many. When asked where she finds her inspiration, she replied with “Colorful things. Oil slicks, pavement, fall leaves, sunsets.”
Stephanie also specializes in Men’s cuts, providing a great consultation to ensure her client receives the haircut they want.
Her goal is to eventually become a product educator so she can share her knowledge with even more.
Stephanie Tabler
Stephanie Tabler is a graduate of the Nail Tech program at ACM. In the short time she has been with us, we have seen amazing work from her. She’s down to earth, and takes time to get to know each of her clients personally.
She is very detailed oriented and ensures that her clients receive the care that they deserve in a clean and sanitized work environment.
Her services include Manis, Pedis, and Acrylics. She also offers a gorgeous selection of nail art for anyone wanting to add a little something extra to their nails.
Haylee Price, LMT
Haylee Price is Shine Studio’s Licensed Massage Therapist. Her job is relaxation, which begins the moment you meet her.
Haylee is a graduate of Allegany College and offers Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Hot Stone Massage.
Haylee’s goal is to ensure that her clients have a calm, relaxing experience.
